At a very young age Brett was fortunate to live, play
and study in several different countries, gaining an
appreciation of our world’s cultural differences and a
desire to further understand our parallel interests.
Born in "The Heart Of It All" Canton, Ohio, Brett
soon thereafter spent several years living in both Brazil
and England before returning back to Ohio. He then
worked in upstate New York for several years before
settling down in the Sandhills of North Carolina. He
has traveled extensively throughout Europe and spent
time studying architecture in Florence, Italy. During
this time he also nurtured a fascination for an array of
subjects including mathematics & geometry
(specifically as displayed in the natural world), biology,
music, physics, and astronomy. His interest in the
study of architecture, and the multiple philosophies
that it represents, arose from these varied interests and
the sense that architecture would allow him to explore
the spirit of countless intriguing topics.

Graduating from Kent State University's School of Architecture, Brett is now a licensed
architect in the State of North Carolina, a member of the American Institute of
Architects (AIA), a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB)
certificate holder, and is an accredited LEED Green Associate.
